I’m Shaleyah Floyd she/her, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Addictions and Drug Counselor (CADC), with over 25 years experience in the field as a therapist and providing clinical supervision. I look forward to supporting you along your journey! It’s my desire for us to create a therapeutic environment that identifies tools and strategies to manage stress, cope with difficult situations, and aid in making healthier life choices. Therapy can serve to assist by fostering a greater self-awareness, improved communication skills, self love and appreciation. I also have a passion for mentoring and providing clinical supervision for social workers and licensed professional counselors. As a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a Master’s degree in Social Work, I have been blessed to journey alongside and to learn from a very diverse group of folks while utilizing multiple treatment modalities. I enjoy time outdoors, time with family and friends and I’m always looking for an opportunity to laugh, learn and encourage others.
